Back in 2019, we released a scent that captured a very specific, cozy vibe: Spicy Chai. It was a unique blend, featuring a warm mix of Orange Sweet, Mandarin, Clove Bud, Cardamom, and Nutmeg essential oils.
Spicy Chai had a great run and lived in our lineup for seven years. However, as we’ve released many other scents over that time, it eventually started to fall behind.
Retiring Spicy Chai & Making Room to Grow
Recently, we made the decision to retire Spicy Chai in Australia.
The reality is that even at our minimum batch sizes, Spicy Chai was moving very slowly, which meant we had stock sitting around for longer than we were comfortable with.
As a small business, we have to make some tough calls to make room for the range to evolve and ensure we’re creating space for the new products and scents that so many of you in our community have been asking for.
At this stage, Spicy Chai won’t be coming back. We always aim to be transparent, which is why we communicated it to our customers ahead of time to give them the chance to stock up before it’s gone.
If you’ve ever made an order through our website, you’re automatically subscribed to these updates, so you’ll never miss a “last call”.
We’ve seen the comments and messages from those of you wishing this one could stay, and we really do appreciate that passion. We hear you, and we see your emails, DMs and comments.
The reality is that we were holding stock that wasn’t selling, and it became unsustainable. We really hope those fans can understand, and we are looking for ways around this, but at the moment, we don’t have a solution.

Our decisions are always steered by you, our community. It’s why we release our Secret Scentas each year to see what resonates, if the love is loud enough, we bring them out as a part of the regular range. 85g tins were also born from customer feedback wanting bigger tins!
Customer Love is our #1 value. We don’t take your loyalty for granted, and while we have to make these difficult choices to keep growing, your feedback is exactly what helps us decide what comes next.
